Attic Insulation
Attic spray foam insulation seals the leaks that push heat out of the top of a house and keeps upstairs rooms comfortable all year.
View Attic InsulationWe install machine shed spray foam insulation in equipment sheds, implement buildings and farm storage buildings around Woodstock and across Oxford County. A coat of closed-cell spray foam on the roof and walls stops condensation from dripping on tractors, combines and planters, and it can be built up later if the shed becomes a heated shop. Every job on the farm is fully insured.
We keep it dry. A steel machine shed roof gets cold overnight, and moisture in the air condenses on it and drips onto the equipment below. Over a few seasons that water rusts sheet metal, soaks wiring harnesses and ruins anything stored in cardboard. Machine shed spray foam insulation keeps the underside of the roof warm enough that the water never forms.
An unheated machine shed does not need the thickness a heated building does. About one inch of closed-cell spray foam on the roof deck and upper walls is usually enough to control condensation and seal out blowing snow. That keeps the price well below a full insulation job, and more foam can be added on top later.
Fibreglass blankets in a farm building quickly become homes for mice and birds. Closed-cell spray foam is rigid, bonds to the steel and framing, and leaves no loose material to pull apart. The big sliding or overhead doors can also be sealed at the frame, where snow and wind blow in. Heated farm shops are covered on our workshop and pole barn insulation page.
Machine shed spray foam insulation around Woodstock usually costs between about $1.50 and $3.50 per square foot for an anti-condensation coat, and more for a full-depth job. The height of the building and the area sprayed set the price, which you get in writing after a visit.
Tell us the size of the shed and whether it will ever be heated. Woodstock Spray Foam Insulation will come out to the farm and send a written machine shed insulation price. Steel buildings used for other purposes are covered on our metal building insulation page.
We insulate every part of a home, as well as barns, shops and commercial buildings.
