Attic Insulation
Attic spray foam insulation seals the leaks that push heat out of the top of a house and keeps upstairs rooms comfortable all year.
View Attic InsulationWoodstock Spray Foam Insulation insulates detached workshops, hobby shops, pole barns and large detached garages across Woodstock and Oxford County. A shop insulated with spray foam heats up faster, holds its heat overnight and stays dry inside. Our team is fully insured, and every estimate comes in writing at no charge.
We insulate both. Heat rises, so an uninsulated shop roof sends most of the furnace's work straight outside. The walls lose the rest through gaps at the sill, around windows and man doors, and along the steel or wood siding.
Spray foam insulation seals those gaps as it insulates. It also seals the framing around the overhead door opening, which is one of the largest sources of cold air in any shop.
A pole barn or post-frame shop has no continuous wall sheathing. The steel cladding is fastened to wood girts and purlins, and there are gaps at every seam. Closed-cell spray foam is sprayed directly onto the back of the steel and the framing. It seals every seam, stiffens the panels and stops the condensation that drips from uninsulated metal in winter.
Batts are hard to hold in place in a pole building and they trap moisture against the steel. Spray foam stays where it is sprayed and does not absorb water. Barns that house livestock need a different plan, covered on our barn and agricultural insulation page.
That depends on how the shop is used. A shop heated every day through the winter should be insulated to a full depth on the walls and roof. A shop heated only on weekends, or a cold storage building, can often use a thinner coat that controls condensation and drafts for a lower price. We explain the options at the estimate visit so you can choose. An attached garage is covered on our garage insulation page.
Workshop and pole barn spray foam insulation in Woodstock usually costs between about $2 and $5 per square foot of sprayed surface. As an example, the walls and roof of a heated 30 by 40 foot shop with 12 foot walls usually fall between about $8,000 and $15,000, depending on the foam thickness. Your written estimate gives the exact price.
Tell us the size of the shop, the wall height and how you heat it. Woodstock Spray Foam Insulation will book a visit and send you a written workshop insulation price.
We insulate every part of a home, as well as barns, shops and commercial buildings.
